Hey everyone! AFU Midwest is heading back to the movies for Dear You, a new Chinese family drama told largely in the Teochew/Chaoshan dialect and centered around the history of overseas Chinese migration in Southeast Asia.

The story follows Xiaowei, a debt-ridden young man who travels to Thailand searching for the grandfather he believes abandoned his family. What begins as a rather practical mission turns into the discovery of decades of letters, sacrifice, separation, and an unexpected story of devotion connecting generations across borders.
