Looking for something meaningful to do today? Come help support Chicago’s running community as a volunteer with Run Mag Mile® 5K & 10K!

🚗 Parking is available in nearby City of Elmhurst parking lots.

Today is the race’s Packet Pickup, helping runners get ready for Run Mag Mile weekend. Volunteer opportunities for the event can include participant check-in, packet distribution, event information, merchandise, and guest support.

🙌 Why volunteer? Volunteers help make these events possible while meeting new people and supporting the running community. Run Mag Mile says volunteers receive a branded volunteer swag item, snacks and water during their shift, a 20% discount on official event merchandise, and eligible community-service hours. Most volunteer shifts average about 4–5 hours.

🌈 AFU members, friends, partners, family, and allies are welcome to volunteer. This is an independent community volunteer opportunity shared by AFU; AFU is not the organizer of Run Mag Mile.

💙🏃 Give a few hours, meet some great people, and help Chicago runners get ready for race day!
