AFU is continuing to get involved in Chicago through volunteering, and this weekend we supported the Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run presented by AbbVie! 🏃‍♂️⚾

Our volunteer assignment was RBI Packet Pick-Up, helping runners get ready for race day and supporting the team behind this Chicago community event.

Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to meet people, get involved, and experience AFU beyond our movie nights, theater outings, dinners, and social events.

🌈 Want to volunteer with AFU?

You don’t need to already know anyone, and you don’t need to be a runner. Just come with a willingness to help and meet new people.

AFU — Asians & Friends Untucked — brings LGBTQ+ Asians, friends, partners, allies, and community members together through social, cultural, entertainment, and community experiences.

If you’d like to join us for future volunteer opportunities, follow our events at AFUCommunity.org and come be part of the community. 💙

Meet people. Give back. Build community. 🌈🤝
